Marlo: I am 34 years old and have FD in 6 bones. I have dealt with this my entire life. After 3 very sucessful transplat type operations, I can tell you that it works. I lead a very active life including endurance athletics. I have been all over the country in effort to solve my FD problem. I have always been told (By Dr's) to avoid man made parts.
