As far as you asking about the ADHD the only sure way to know is to have your daughter tested. I can tell you I have a 10 year old son who was very active early on and I just attributed it to his personality, however I was very wrong. His report card were indicitive of impulsive behavior, inability to sit still, up and down thriught his class, this went on until he was in second grade. I tried everything in my power to help him but I feel as though I failed in many ways. I finally after his second grade teacher persisted that he be tested by the school, I had the testing done, and not by the school district either. I took him to a neurologist who knows about add and adhd, he scored 15 out of a possible 18. He was started on Ritalin 5 mg twice a day just for school, he is now on 20mg ritalin sustained release tabs and takes 1 tab daily. His grade are fantastic all A & B compared to c&d before the Ritalin. I hope my little synapses of my sons difficulties and treatment and outcomes has helped.
