Dear Sally, My brother was diagnosed with CFS when he was fifteen years old. He suffered for about two years and has since recovered; however, it was a very frustating ordeal. He was not able to go to high school, but still graduated with honors and went on to college - he is planning on attending law school in the near future. He found a doctor he really liked and although his doctor didn't always have answers for my brother's problems, he was willing to work with him. I don't know how medically beneficial this message will be for you, but I wanted to give you hope - something that seems to be absent when a young person has to deal with CFS. Hang in there!!!
