I have had this and the pain was so bad it was crippling. I had to get cortisone shots in the bottom of my feet and they were so painful I had to wait until the plantarfacitis hurt worse than the shot before I would go! I was going to a podiatrist, had orthotics and everything, but it wasn't getting any better. I ended up going to a chiropractor and also getting good athletic shoes that I wore everywhere - even to church. The shoes were Avia - walking shoes. And now I wear New Balance - also walking shoes. Between the chiropractor and the shoes, I haven't need to go back to the podiatrist for several years. Of course, the shoes aren't the most stylish, but sure beats the shots!!!
