I have had reoccuring insomnia for 12-14 yrs now. It seems to stem from many things. Worry, food, caffeine, too litle exercise, lack of money, health problems, outside interferience ( I run a business) phone calls etc. Melatonin works sometimes, but not always. Usually a combination of things work. Being careful of my diet seems to be the most important thing since I have food allergies also. Is there anything that I can do long term about this problem?
