I'm not sure what Cushings is but I wanted to tell you about something I've been using that's totally natural and is the first thing since I started having periods that made me regular besides the birth control pill. I'm 48 and took Clomid to get pregnant. I took it for 12 months the first time and 9 months the second preg. I have a 22 yr old son and twin 20 yr. old daughters. I believe I've had PCOS since puberty but they didn't know about it then. I was finally diagnosed about a year ago after pretty much telling the doc I had PCOS. A year before that I had seen a Dr. of Osteopathic medicine that worked at a local health food store. She put me on a natural progesterone cream. My periods immediately became normal and my acne disappeared. Since then a doctor told me to try Prempro and another hormone pill that's commonly prescribed but I can't remember the name. I spotted, became irregular, my acne came back and my hair started falling out. I told the Osteo and she said that alot of women's bodies, especially those with PCOS, cannot synthesize synthetic hormones. I went back on the progesterone cream and voila my periods became regular and the acne went away too. I have every other PCOS symptom in the book and unfortunately it hasn't helped that, but the periods etc. have greatly improved. She said that you have to make sure you get a Progesterone cream that has 500mg pure progesterone PER OUNCE. There are many creams on the market and some have as little as 5mg per ounce in them. The one I use costs about $25 per bottle and one bottle lasts more that 2 months. I use about a fingernail's worth of the cream twice a day. I put it on one breast in the morning and the other breast at night. Then the next day I put it on the left upper inner thigh between my legs and then at night the other thigh. The rest of the places you use the cream are your stomach, and upper under arm. The cream I use is made by KAL Dietary Supplements. It says Natural Progesterone Enhanced Skin Absorption with DLPA Liposome Cream and comes in a 4 oz. squeeze bottle. I know the frustration of trying to get pregnant and hope you have success. I don't know if this will help with infertility but it definitely helped me have periods. If you have any questions email me at djm99@msn.com You should probably ask your doctor about it before taking it.
