I did finally get my disability after 4 years. I don't think many people understand fibromyalgia and how painful it is. You look fine so you must be fine. You may be up one day and down the next three. You can't plan anything because you don't know how you will feel when the day comes. The trigger points are so painful I do not want to be touched. I also have migraines, and 3 stainless steel rods in back from scoliosis. I have arthritis in my spine and hips. I can't sit for long periods, or stand for long periods. Taking a trip is murder. Yet some days I feel almost normal. Good Luck! It is a slow process especially if you do not have someone fighting for you that knows about this illness and knows the system.
