Hi, I also had a hip replacement in September of 99. I am doing exceptionallly well. Only mild pain after surgery (muscle soreness). You mentioned nerves, could this be nerve damage? I strongly suggest a doctor who specializes in that area. I can only imagine what you are going through. I wish you luck and pain free days ahead. See another doctor...that's why they are there.
