I have had shingles so many times I've lost count. I am 39 years old. The first time I got them was about 4 years ago, I was under a lot of stress with family problems at home. I broke out after I had been going to use a tanning bed X 4 times. As long as I take Valtrex every day I usually do okay, but I stopped taking that, stress went out of control again and I was in the tanning bed again and low and behold I broke out again, I will never get in another tanning bed as long as I live.\
