Hi, I too have RSD for about 4 yrs. I had to have surgery done after being diagnosed with RSD, it was emergency surgery, anyway, the RSD did spread to my legs (where the surgery was done) Now I am in severe pain most of the time. I have talked to several people who needed surgery after being diagnosed with RSD, most of them said that you are not supposed to have any surgery because it will spread. However, I really don't know what I would do in your situation, I wouldn't want to lose my sight. With me I too needed the surgery or I would have lost both legs. I'mm just wondering what kind of pain you would have regarding your eyes. Would it be like a constant headache? or worst? Please keep me posted regarding your condition. I'd like to talk to you anyway regarding RSD, like how you got it and what type of pain you have, and what types of medication helps. Hope you get some answers. Linda
