My daughter at 28 was dignosis with MS. She is now 37 she has 4 childrens 18,16,13,8. She got over her MS coming out of rescission. This time she was left with dizzness, Couldn't hold her balance without a crutcher. It took about six months for her to give up her crutcher, but she has learn that you take life one day at a time. You plan your days but if you don't feel well that day you forget and tell the kids that it's a bad day and don't push because you know what "no" meets and if if you don't I can explain the n or the o. It seems like when she tells them this they straighten up and fly right for mon that day or days. They become awear of the Situation. This time she had all of her medicines done at home. The children saw what happens when Mon gones down. They saw the inv. being put into her and they saw Grandma flushing out the inv. tubes. This had a very much efect on the children. Now they know what happens in the hospital that they didn't see. This time it took her longer to come back. But she still has the dizzness, a little bit on the short footens which will always be their each time someting is always left behind. Her husband and the children know how much they love her and they are always trying to help her in her illness. The housework is divide until she saids I can do it. They step aside for a little while. She is active in her church and the children school when she is well. But you have cope the after efects of MS.
