i had this illness 9 years ago, followed by lazer surgery. the cells never grew back abnormal, thank god. i am assuming you mean lazer surgery when you say "leep procedure". it was painful, i had to be put to sleep for it. but it was well worth the pain. i am not suggesting you will be totally well after, but the possibility is there. i hope everything works out o.k. for you. tonia
