Jean, I'm a 51 year old male that has pain symptoms very similar to yours. Although I'm not as immobilized, I had to see a doctor. I'm quite athletic and I hate to be in pain that restricts my mobility. I had an MRI last week (8/25/2000) an the xrays have indicated that I have a lytic lesion. At this stage it is felt that I have fibrous dysplasia of the right hip and it appears as though I may need a hip replacement.
