I had a case of chronic hives for a few years . . . several years ago. My doctor suggest that I try Sarna Lotion. I don't know if you have tried that, but the relief it provides really helps you deal with the problem until you can get rid of them. You will need to ask your pharmacist about this item, or check at major pharmacy in your area, as this is not an item typically displayed in the sales racks. My pharmacist had to make a special order for me. When you apply to the irritated areas, this lotion has an extremely cooling and soothing effect on the hives. Almost instantly, the itching will fade away. My worst time was at night when I was trying to sleep. When I started using this lotion, I finally was able to sleep again!! I hope this helps!!
