I’ve had chronic hives for 8+ years now… what a pain! At first I went to a number of doctors and tried a lot of different medicines. Some worked short term, some not at all. Finally my hives (and swelling of my lips & face) have been suppressed by taking Zantac (150mg) Zyrtec (10mg) once every 24 hours. Although it’s great the medicine works for me now, I don’t want to take pills everyday for the rest of my life. The doctors have basically given up on finding the cause.
