This is interesting... I have been researching LQTS which is a genetic Cardiac arrythmia problem. Some of the info I have found describes women having cardiac episodes more frequently during their periods. Also, the cardiac episodes can and often due occur at night and can cause some of the symptoms you are experiencing. I wonder if you have LQTS? The first line of treatment for it is beta-blockers. However more severe episodes can be fatal, and people with LQTS sometimes are fitted with implantable defibrilators, and pacemakers.Hope this helps...
