Hi, I don't know anything about emphysema, itself. But, I do know a little about the weather and how it affects how I feel. First, it is probably not the weather that is affecting you, but ALLERGENS! I have a HomeHealthBook, and it gives many suggestions on how to feel a little better with emphysema. One of the things it says is to be knowledgeable about all your allergies, and always keep away from what you are allergic to. Suffering from allergies makes you emphysema worse. Along the same line, just like people can "feel it in their bones" when "there's a storm brewing," atmospheric changes can change how much fluid your body is retaining. I have something called "unknown edema," where my feet swell & BURN the second the heat & humidity begin in the summer.
