Hi! Lynn! I am a mother of two children with hydrocephalus. The 23 yr. old one has had a shunt from the time she was 3 days old. She also had revisions at 6 weeks. Two again at 2-1/2 years one at 5 yr one at 6, and lastly at 11 yrs. She is presently a pediatric nurse, she does help other parents understand how it feels and what it is like from hear perspective.
