My 5 yr old son was diagnosed with generalised tonic/clonic epilepsy almost 3 yrs ago. After that,for more than 2 yrs he only had 3 seisures,(more than 8 months in between). Lately he has been having seisures frequently, mostly 2 weeks in between. He is on Tegretol medication, 20mls a day. Does he have to change his medication? Any suggestions before I talk to his doctor?. Thank you very much .
