I have seen so many postings related to all the problems that come with this harrington rod complications that came later. I am 47, had full length harrington rod, done in 1982, pain since that day, I have not been able to function for 3 years. I too read a report from a clinic in NY in re: flatback. I called them, at first was excited & then backed out because it was state of the art technology that put me in such a painful existance. I am working with a pain clinic. Also I am in need of surgery on my neck for herniated disc. I would love to here from via e-mail.
