                        I'm 70 yrs old & suffered w/severe  constipation all my life in spite of  good diet. Stress played large part.  After reading a recipe in a Dr's book,my  problem was solved! 2 parts Psyllium  Husks, to 1 part fine oat bran & 1 part  Flax Meal (or ground flax seed). Take  a teasp w/ea meal with large glass of  water. Flax is a natural laxative. I have books from health food store for  cooking with Flax. It very high in the  important Omega 3's also. Not expensive  but must be refrigerated once the seed  is ground. Easy to learn to cook with  Flax and I add a spoonful to about all  I bake for health benefits. Hope this  helps--much cheaper than the tests,  Rx's and other stuff on market full of  dyes and Nutrasweet! Worked for me!!  But begin slowly until you reach the  amount needed to regulate you!!!!!
