Hello Shirley i am a 35 year old black male my mother has hypertension and no one else in my family has it 2 years ago i was in a car crash i was rear ended whilst sitting at some stop lights i was wearing my seat belt i was the passenger in the car. I am 6'6 120 kilos born in chicago illinois a proffessional athlete most of my life now i have settled here in Sydney Australia for the 6 years of my life still reasonably fit and still playing basketball to a certain degree, i was taken from the accident via ambulance BP readings at the hospital were 230/130 been seeing a DR here in Sydney on hypertension medication to reduce it. Also neck back and sciata nerve damage in my left leg and a heamatoma to my left kidney could that cause hypertension, kidney damage, and am i on this medication for life and is the ongoing hypertension related to the accident.
