My first question to you would be are you going to a rheumatologist? Also are you seeing a neurologist? Does your doctor specialize in your diseases? Find out all you can about the medicine you are taking and ask your doctor questions, questions and more questions. I have fibromyalgia with possibly the myofacial syndrome. I have severe head aches and been tested for polymyalgia rheumatica and had a biopsy of temporal arteries for temporal arteritis, which were negative. I was put on steroids for a short period as a precaution. I still have the head aches, but am taking pain medication and muscle relaxers to try to control the pain. My doctors still don't know what is causing the pain. So ask questions, and perhaps get a second opinion. CFS and related diseases are very hard to treat.
