                        I've had Tinnitus for 17 years now;  its worse in my left ear .  Mine was  caused by a head -on collision with  another vehicle and a subsequent  brain injury.  It doesn't bother me un-  less I'm in a quiet room and then its  all I can hear.   I set the sleep timer  on my T.V. at night , otherwise I'd  never get to sleep.  One Dr. said I  could have blockages in the tiny vessels leading to the ear.   But I'm  more inclined to believe its from the  accident, because I didn't have it be  fore the accident.  There are sound  machines you can buy that are sup-   posed to mask the Tinnitus, but the  T.V. works fine for me.
