                        Exercise is usually prescribed by the doctor for high cholesterol if your heart is in good condition. It would be best to ask the Dr. for his recommendation.  I would start with the swimming and walking first just to get in good shape for more vigorous exercise.  Ask for the simple hs-CRP test with your next cholesterol test.  Be sure to modify your diet.
