I have had whipple surgery. My original injury was from a fall and was treated for a back injury for 6 months. Finally went for a second opinion and a tumor was found on the pancreas. I lost the duodenum, gall blader and some intestine. Was told I would have a difficult time in maintaining my weight. It has been six years and I am thiry pounds overweight and am on enzyemes. Very frustrated with the medical field as I don't feel that I receive much support in taking care of myself. I am presently 46 years old and did not have any prior symptoms.
