Hi I had a spinal decompression and fussion 5 years ago which has just failed. This has now started syatica and I was sent for an epidural. NEVER AGAIN! They failed on 3 attemps and finally managed to put the drug in on the 4th attempt (this was due to being unable to curve my back to enable the needle to go in). However after all this they still managed to get the epidural in the wrong leg and did not relieve any pain - the only use the drug managed to do was force my blood pressure up, which has been compensated for by increasing the tablets I take. If you have any ideas as to how I can reduce the pain PLEASE let me know!
