I have a son who is 5 years old, and I had just found out today that he was colorblind. I am very disturbed by this even though he is a very smart indiviual it concerns me, Im not sure how this will affect him mentaly or if he even knows or understands. I also wounder how long he has been colored blind? Is it something he might grow out of? What about traffic lights? The more and more I think about this, I get scared. Please someone help me understand this condition! My son will be starting kindergarden this fall and he is a very sensitive person, is there something I can do to prepare him?
