I'm 18 years old and Thursday I had my tonsils removed. I was really scared when I got to the hospital, I had to wear a gown, they started an I.V.They gave me a shot in the I.V. the next thing I remember is waking up. My throat hurt but not that bad. I was able to talk and I left the hospital right away. The best thing to drink is powerade. Thursday I was real hungry I was able to eat soup. Friday was worse the back of my throat looks awful! My whole mouth is swallen and today it's Saturday I feel worse then I did but not to bad. It's not that bad, you just don't feel like doing much, sleeping is about all. It was hard for me cuz tonight is my senior homecomming and bonfire and I couldn't make it. You might feel like you can talk but you'll pay for it the next day if you over do it.
