I thought I possibly had yeast infection only for years. I was finally tested for herpes (all forms) and mono (Epstein-Barr). I was positive on Herpes I & II and Mono. You need to have your blood drawn and tested. I was devastated but have accepted it and am trying desperately to not worry about the stigma attached to herpes and take care of my health and family. It is a very common disease anymore. I know this probably doesn't make you feel better right now, but just know, you are not alone.
