I have had migraines during my period for years. Birthcontrol pills were prescribed to me thinking the absence of estrogen at time of flow was causing the migraine. This only intensified the headaches. Currently I am trying a progesterone pill which will stop my periods. Time will tell if this works. I wish I could find info on studies of menstrual migraines.
