Sharon, You have all the classic symptoms of RSD. However, after having the disease for eight years, & being one of the most severe cases on record, & going thru all the symptoms as the disease progresses, it would seem you have progressed thru the entire course of all the stages in the 8 week period. You need to have your condition examined by a physiatrist, as they are more apptly able to make a qualified opinion as to whether or not you have RSD. Then locate an anesthesiologist who treats RSD & other nerve-linked illnesses & confer with him/her. No one can tell you if you have RSD just by talking with you, but the symptoms are pretty much self explanatory. RSD is called the chameleon disease for the good reason that it mimicks all other diseases. This is why you need to do as I suggested, although not becuase I suggested it, but for the reason that this is the recognized form of determination for discovery & treatment. This is also not to say you do/do not have the illness, only to give you a direction to proceed in. I hope you do not have this illness, but if you do, the 2 dr.'s I mentioned are the ones more appropriate to treat you. Good luck, & Godspeed on recovery.
