Hi,I have been suffering from agoraphobia/anxiety attacks for more than twenty years. I went to a psychologist for 1 year and just knowing that I found someone who understood what I was going through made me feel better. Through his help and some medication I am able to function quite normally. I have learned what the triggers are and do my best to fight them. I would definately seek some medical help from a psycholigist they are truly a God send. I had no luck with a psychiatrist but that was me. Relaxation techniques is what I was taught and other things which should only be done with the assistance of a qualified person. I also found exercise and loud music that you can sing to and nobody can hear you a good source of relaxation. Once again I recommend aerobics. I do them at home.
