Hi Jenny, Did you have the titanium plate put in c4-c5? Mine was c4-c6. The pain never stopped, 18 months later it was so severe I was on 5 morphine and several other drugs thru pain mangement. The Dr. couldn't understand why, the MRI looked good. He did a discigram and a CT and found the c7-c8 was broken. After the 2nd surgery, I can now move my head left and right but not up and down yet. It's only been 3 months and I'm in P.T. The doc removed the old plate and put in a new one. Let me hear from you. I have questions like: does your plate get too cold if you eat ice cream??? Connie
