Hi! I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis 7 years ago and have tried just about everything for the pain. I recently tried cortisone injections, which is a painless procedure when done right, and it seems to be the best thing for me! I refuse to have surgery because I was told there was no guarantee in the fusion taking. And I've heard too many horror stories about people being in more pain after the surgery than before. I also recently discovered a support group on the internet for sufferers of spondy! We have about 13 members so far. Sometimes it helps to know that you're not the only one and the information exchange gives you a heads up before you visit your doctor, too! There were so many treatments I've never heard about until I joined this group. Please check it out: http://www.egroups.com/group/Spondylolisthesissupport Good luck and I wish you a happy, pain-free holiday! Jessica
