i too have polymyositis. i've been told to start cytoxan. i've very scared about this. i've been on prednisone for 12 yrs, and lately immuaren. my latest pft, &chest ct scan showed worsening. i'm going to get a second opinion, from a well known dr. in st. louis. hopefully he will have some news for me. i'm single and been living with this horrible disease for a long time. please reply if you have anything to suggest. hope your hanging in there , having children would be a challenge, but maybe a blessing. you would always have a feeling of making the best for your family.
