Hi Robert, I live in Canada but I lived in the U.S. when I was diagnosed with emphysema. I was approved for lung volume reduction by the Mayo Clinic but they told me at that time that it was not being done in the U.S. I moved back to Canada in 1994 and had the surgery in 1995. I would be dead along time ago if I had not done it. I hope this is of some help to you. I would talk to you more but I don't know the procedures with this "computer" thing being very new to me.
