                        Well, after being diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma   in 1991, I have just discovered that I have Cushing's   Disease. Why, I wonder, was I never tested for this   insideous thing?I have had every single symptom: it   took a neurosurgeon placing me on dexamethasone therapy   for my neck and back which instantly turned my life around!  I have been on this therapy for 2.5 weeks and feel ten years  younger. I have lost 10 pounds, my bruising has stopped, my   energy level is up, my migraines have stopped, a total quality  of life change. I am not sure that I understand why this drug   therapy has had such a radical effect on me. Can someone else   who has taken this medication respond? I know it is not the   optimal long term treatment, but it is better than loading up   on Immitrix and other pain medication every week. I can't believe   how much better I feel!
