Kathy, I too have a son 11 1/2 that has been diagnosed with osteomyelitis, the biopsy was inconclusive and the doctor has said that he will be speaking with a bone tumor panel tomorrow evening. I too wonder how this could happen? My son has been having pain in an arm now for a little over a year. The local hospital tests were leading to a sarcoma, but the specialist my son has seen seems to believe that it is not a cancer, but we still have no clear answer. If you have any further information that may be helpful please let me know, and I too will pass on any further info that I receive.
