Jean
Joe, I was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma, diffused, B & T cell. There are many kinds of non-hodgkins lymphoma, as you can see by the discription of mine. I started treatments (CHOP) in December 2000. In April these were complete and my doctor put me on weekly treatments of Rituxan, a mono-clonal antibody, for 8 weeks. In June I was give a complete remission report. Hopefully, your wife will respond very well, too. I go for tests every three months, with every other one being given a CT scan, gallium scan, bone marrow test and blood test. I get just a blood test on the opposite three months. (Am I confusing you?) Anyway, I am 57 and responded very well to the treatments. Since your wife is much younger than me, I am sure she will do even better. I don't know how long I will be in remission, but I know I am in God's hands. I will pray for you and your wife that all will go well.
