Tonesha. I had the gastric Bypass 7 months ago. At the moment of the operation (358 lb.) I had problems with everything from high blood pres., high sugar levels in my blood, tired, sleep apnea, etc. A week after the operation the Doctor asks me to quit all the medications because I didn't need them. The operation is not for everybody but if your Doctor say that you need it go for it. I loose 91 lb. and I feel like a new person, I feel like 18 again. The operation will change your life forever and you need to be prepare for that. My wife now is jealous (before she forget to look at me, now she is all over me at all the times) I do not give her any reason to be jealous but now I look more "Fit" and she start making things in her mind. My dog didn't recognize me for a few months because my body odor changes. Some friends coworkers and family didn't recognize me just a few month after the operation. That is not so bad but looks like you are shrinking and people stop noticing you for your relative small size ( no small but becoming "normal" size) I do not If you understand but is a big decision and you are the only one to have to decide what to do. In my case If Time goes back and I had the same problem that I had before I will went trough the operation again without thinking about the consequences
