My son was diagnosed with IS 1-5-01. We Have been on phenobarb and prednisone for 3 weeks and now we are on Depakote and phenobarb.It seems to be controlling the spasms(seizures).There is a great discussion group at Yahoogroups.com. Just type in infantile spasms in the group search. There are many of us that are going thru what you are now. You can even go thru the old posts to gather great information. Good luck.
