Stormy Lower
Hi,I also have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, after having my second child. I am only 22, but have done a lot of research in books and on the internet and thought you should know that people who have hypothyroidism, also have an increased risk of having PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) which is very common and prevents ovulation. If you have had irregular or absent periods this might be something you would want to have checked also. You might also want to check with an endocrinologist or a thyroidologist for more complete answers, my OB/Gyn told me that my hypo symptoms were normal after having a baby - keep looking, there are people who can help you and there is finally a lot of good info out there - I feel for people who never had this information available to them. Hope this helps and good luck!!!!!!!
