Dear Jenny, doctor's always give multiple diagnosis when they are clueless. My son is in a mental institution now and they gave the very vague diagnosis of PDD. He was on so much medication prior to that, it was ridiculous. He was diagnosed with ADHD, Bipolar, ODD, etc. He was on dexedrine, clonodine, depakote, & prozac all at the same time & none of it was working. Now I get the vague diagnosis of (and as they say they are not sure) PDD. I've had it!!!!!! If a doctor doesn't know, then they should say they don't know, but bantering diagnosis around does nothing but leave a child in limbo, and possibly in prison for life. Praying for everyone Karen
