I am having my second abdominal and pelvic CT scan in a couple days. I also (within the last year) have had and IVP and small bowel series. We want to get pregnant soon, but I am worried about risks of genetic defects in my babies because of repeated exposure to my reproductive organs. I hear from my doc that risk is "minimal" but I keep reading that exposure is cumulative and that you are born with all your eggs.........anyone have any input---I need answers ASAP so I can make a decision on whether to have the CT. Thanks
