Hi I am going to a urologist this week to find out about the possibility of having bladder surgery. I had a hysterectomy a few years ago and now I have the bladder problem. Now that I have seen that the bladder rests on the uterus why would they not know that you would of course have a problem if they remove the resting place of the bladder and just take precautionary matters? After my hysterectomy I awoke in a lot of pain. I am glad that my friends had told me that it was very painful. I think if I had been surprised I would have been very afraid that something had gone wrong. Is the bladder surgury painful afterwards? What is the recovery time. Any suggestions or advice that you can give me I would appreciate it. Sherry
