My son (almost 12 years) has a form of dwarfism known as achondroplasia - which is the most common form of dwarfism. He was diagnosed at about 1½ years of age. Does your granddaughter have short limbs, mild hydrocephilis, or bowed legs? There is an organization in which you might be interested. It's called "Little People of America" and is for people of all ages who are dwarfs or related to people who are dwarfs. Our family is a member. The organization has chapters all over the country and world, with meetings held at various times of the year to discuss bus- iness and to give the dwarfs an opportunity to meet with others who have the same disability. I would love to share more with you.
