I was diagnosed with hpv during the holidays. Needless to say I was devastated. I am a 47 years old and just in a new relationship. I had been married for 17yrs had an affair, divorced and had another relationship with a 29yr old and that's where I think I became infected. I don't know why I had unprotected sex with him. Anyway, I decided to not see this new guy after he was tested and found to be negative, He was tested twice. I was so thankful. I do not want to infect him. I had the laser treatment. It is not so bad, I don't know if all is well yet.
