Susan, I am a mother of a two year old daughter who has mono. FD. It was diagnosed when she was 13 months old. She has it in her right tibia. My advice to you is to get in touch with the support group on the internet. It is a wonderful site and the people registered with it offer such wonderful support and advice. Seek information from your doctor, let him/her know of the site.. it has medical professionals listed also. We have formed friendships from this site and as we are in Australia, it is wonderful to be able to communicate with other families who are going through similar circumstances.
