I am so sorry that you, too have this 'lousy' Rosacea! I have had it for 20 years & I am still fighting it. My husband just said to me, which didnot go down too well, that I have to learn with people staring at me...because everybody does. Unless I am in a sub-zero temp. - everyone looks, stares or comments. I have tried everything topical - everything oral - & now have had two ultra beam laser treatments - which have a 3 month 'down' period. I read in yesterday's N.R.S. booklet about Rosacea 'discomfort'.... Finally; they got a little more accurate - instead of the 'usual' creams or tripwires etc.. I am sorry that I have written so harshly. I thought the laser treatments were really going to help, but they havenot. Dr. Geoffrey Nase has Rosacea ...plus has a book coming out which is available on line. There are also photos. of his red face on-line, also. This book which is dealing with 'actual' Rosacea & not just trying to cover it up etc.... is due out in a few weeks. He's been there - and knows what we feel.
